It is extremely frustrating, I don't think there is a harder working guy on this team. If the other players on the team played with half as much determination and effort as Jackman does we would be in a completely different situation. He finishes check, battles hard and won't give up on plays. If players on the top line had the special something Jackman has we would be a serious contender. |

They should give him another two year deal right now. Even when he's not scoring he plays the enforcer role very well and can still be a decent 4th liner. Still great value. |

I think the problem might actually be the fact that he and TK are too similar... they both bang and crash, but there's no one on that line to help them capitalize. When that line really got rolling last year it was when Jokinen played a few games between them... then Moss took over and it was just as good. Eventually Backlund took the spot and the scoring slowed down, but they still controlled the play and generated chances. Since then the scoring just never really came back. |

Thats the dilemma. If a Vanc or playoff contender offered a 2nd or 3rd for him, which would be a huge overpayment, do you take it? Kosto has less value but he may evn get us a 3rd or 4th for him. You need a younger banger with Jackman that still has potential for scoring on that line. Stajan doesnt do sweet tweet all, I think Flames may have to bury his contract next year. |

If we're out of the race you could trade him and resign him July 1st. |

I'd rather trade kos and keep jackman
bouma/moss/jackman would be a good line I think.
stajan/jokinen for roy/leino+

So far Leino is looking like an even worse contract than Stajan's. |

Sooner or later Brent Sutter has to be held accountable to why so many players aren't producing to their offensive capabilities. Stajan is a good puck distributor so where does Sutter put him ? On a line with two guys who can't score. Stajan doesn't have a chance as long as Sutter is the coach. |

If PL3 was worth a third rounder --- Jackman is worth at LEAST a high first round pick!! |

I think he was picked up because every canadian team is required to have at least one dirty playing french canadian on the roster. |
